ph3Overview /h3 /brpOur site in Meyrin, Switzerland currently has an exciting opportunity for a bHealth, Safety and Environmental Leader /b. /p /brpThe Site bHealth, Safety and Environmental Leader /b is responsible for leading the ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Meyrin Technology and Innovation Center’s Stewardship programs and performance. /p /brpThe successful candidate will lead, develop and maintain high performance while engaging with the site leaders to drive world‑class Stewardship performance at the site. /p /brpThis position will also serve as the EMEA regional Stewardship resource for Technology and Innovation, bLaboratories /b and bOffice /b teams. /p /brh3Responsibilities /h3 /brpbIn this role, you will: /b /p /brul /brliCollaborate with the site director, site leadership team and other leaders at the site and corporate level to establish site Stewardship strategies and long‑range plan and ensures that the strategies and long‑range plans are effective, simple, and deliver on time results. /li /brliEnsure that the strategies and the long‑range plans build a culture of “no harm” to our people, to our community, and to the environment. /li /brliEffectively lead Environmental, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Process Safety and Security programs to achieve corporate and regulatory compliance every day. /li /brliInfluence and coach site team on robust action plans to overall stewardship performance. /li /brliDevelop and manage KPI’s and metrics to measure progress and effectiveness of safety initiatives, programs, processes, and policies. /li /brliDevelop a robust set of leading indicators that focuses the team on the critical activities and behaviors to enable excellent Stewardship results. /li /brliEnsure site Stewardship policies are simplified and easy to adhere to in the field, while aligned with regulatory and corporate requirements. /li /brliEstablish continuous improvement initiatives that are aligned with Human Organizational Performance (HOP) leadership principles. /li /brliBuild collaborative relationships with site partners and regulatory groups to ensure regulatory compliance is achieved and to build goodwill with the surrounding communities. /li /brliAccountable for incident management at the site and drives near miss and hazard condition reporting. /li /brliEffectively manage emergency and security response programs and engage community associations to act as a liaison. /li /brliEnsure effective site sustainability reporting and improvement initiatives that are aligned with corporate sustainability goals and requirements. /li /brliEnsure completion of 1st Party Stewardship Audits and work with the sites leadership team to analyze results to drive continual improvement. /li /brliCoordinate 2nd party audit schedules and the execution, development, and implementation plan to resolve any audit findings. /li /brliParticipate in field engagement and interactions with employees and contractors to promote Stewardship continual improvement. /li /br /ul /brh3Qualifications /h3 /brpbWhat YOU will bring to the team /b: /p /brul /brliUniversity degree in Chemistry, Engineering, EHS, or similar technical discipline. /li /brliSwiss Diploma “Ingénieur sécurité MSST” is a requirement. /li /brliChargé de sécurité incendie is desired. /li /brliAt least 5 -10 years of bEHS /b Management or experience in a bLaboratory/RD environment /b. /li /brli5+ years of strongleadership, people management and development skills in an industrial environment. /li /brliExperience and working knowledge of process safety, environmental, industrial health programs, and occupational safety programs and requirement. /li /brliProactive leadership and team‑building skills with the ability to work effectively throughout the organization. /li /brliAbility to develop and grow Stewardship competency through coaching. /li /brliExceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all organization levels through written and verbal communications, in both English and in French. /li /brliAbility to understand how to influence business objectives across the site without formal supervisory authority. /li /brliStrong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication in both bEnglish /b and bFrench /b. /li /brliStrong sense of ownership and a drive to achieve timely results. /li /brliExcellent organization and time management skills. /li /brliThe confidence to deal with ambiguity. /li /brliStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills. /li /br /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
