Distributed Computing Platform Engineering Lead

ph3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and evolve the software platform used to deploy and operate distributed computing environments. /li liDevelop automation frameworks that enable reproducible deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of infrastructure and services. /li liDefine engineering standards, workflows, and operational practices across multiple environments. /li liBuild and maintain provisioning pipelines for physical and virtual systems. /li liDrive platform reliability, observability, and operational excellence across the entire stack. /li liCollaborate with software, hardware, and product teams to integrate new technologies into the platform. /li liEvaluate and introduce tooling that improves scalability, developer productivity, and operational efficiency. /li liContribute to reference architectures for distributed and heterogeneous computing systems. /li liLead technical investigations, proof‑of‑concepts, and platform validation activities. /li liMentor engineers and foster engineering best practices within the organization. /li liWork closely with customers and partners during platform deployments and technical integrations. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. /li liSeveral years of experience designing and operating production infrastructure or platform environments. /li liStrong Linux systems engineering background. /li liHands‑on experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, or similar). /li liExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated operational workflows. /li liFamiliarity with containerized environments and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes. /li liSolid understanding of networking, distributed systems, and infrastructure security principles. /li liExperience operating physical or hybrid infrastructure environments. /li liAbility to troubleshoot complex cross‑layer issues spanning hardware, operating systems, networking, and applications. /li liStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. /li liComfortable working in a fast‑moving startup environment. /li liNice to have: Experience with high‑performance computing, AI infrastructure, or accelerated computing platforms. /li liFamiliarity with GPUs, FPGAs, or other specialized compute architectures. /li liExperience with edge computing or distributed systems. /li liExposure to data center operations, infrastructure monitoring, or hardware integration. /li liCloud certifications or experience with public cloud environments. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
