ph3The Role /h3 pAs a bFinancial Controller /b, you will be a key member of our finance team, taking ownership of financial reporting, internal controls and overall accounting operations. This role is essential for delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful financial information that supports strategic decision-making. You will review financial operations, participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, and compliance processes to ensure our continued growth, finance control and operational efficiency. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, accountability and will play a crucial part in our decision-making processes. /p ul libFully onsite position /b, based at our office in Lisbon, where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in person and contribute to a dynamic and fast- paced environment. bWe are open to support with relocation efforts. /b /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPrepare, control and report financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across departments and product lines. /li liReview monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting. /li liOversee internal control systems and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and tax obligations. /li liCollaborate in a fast-moving environment, cross-functionally to align financial reporting and business goals. /li liManage cash flow, cost control, and ad-hoc financial risk assessments. /li liOptimize automation of ERP and accounting tools such as Netsuite, Payhawk, Ramp. /li liAnalyze and report variances, provide insights into financial performance metrics. /li liContribute to business planning and strategic initiatives with financial insights. /li liContinuously improve financial processes, systems, and controls for scalability and efficiency. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liAround 5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, or financial management. /li liPrior experience in a senior audit position or Big 4 firm is highly valued and/or Start-up/Scale-up experience. /li liDegree in Accounting, Management, Finance, or a related field (bachelor's or master's). /li liChartered Accountant qualification is a strong plus. /li liSolid understanding of accounting standards, financial statements, and tax regulations. /li liExperience with tools such as Excel, Netsuite, Payhawk, Ramp, Oracle, or SAGE. /li liStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset. /li liAbility to communicate financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. /li liFluent in English, both written and verbal. /li /ul h3Why Join Air Apps?
