h3Postdoc researcher in machine learning at the Swiss AI Lab (IDSIA) /h3pbPosted on: /b Jan 11, 2018 /ppThe Swiss AI Lab (IDSIA) is opening a position for a bpostdoctoral researcher /b in the area of bmachine learning /b. /ppbJob description: /b /ppThe successful candidate will split their time evenly between two main activities: /pollibBasic research /b aimed at publishing in high-impact journals and international conferences. /lilibApplied research /b involving responsibility for cutting-edge projects in collaboration with companies in the financial services sector. /li /olpAdditionally, the role involves seeking funding opportunities for both basic and applied research. The researcher will work on probabilistic methods in machine learning for inference and decision-making in complex environments, with significant freedom to explore and develop new methods.
