ppDate Posted: 6/28/2024 /p pLocation: District Wide /p h3Title /h3 pSchool Psychologist /p h3Reports To /h3 pDirector of Special Education /p h3Qualifications /h3 pAppropriate State of Illinois Certificate /p h3Job Goal /h3 pTo assist in the identification of students needing special intervention and assist in the development and implementation of programs to meet identified needs. /p h3Performance Responsibilities /h3 ul liAssists with screenings to identify students who may need educational intervention. /li liAttends building referral team meetings. /li liUnderstands RtI MTSS process for eligibility. /li liConducts case study evaluations. /li liProvides verbal and written report of information obtained from the case study. /li liChairs/attends multidisciplinary conferences (MDCs) for those students evaluated. /li liConsults with school personnel regarding behavior management and learning problems. /li liConsults/counsels with parents and/or students to assist in the remediation of school related problems. /li liProvides consultation for necessary individual educational programs or needs. /li liProvides relevant inservice education for school personnel. /li liContinues professional improvement by attending conventions and workshops, reading journals and other professional publications, and exchanging ideas with colleagues. /li liMakes appropriate recommendations regarding ways to assist a student referred for examination. /li liConducts functional behavior assessments; assists in development of Behavior Intervention Plans. /li liConducts observations of students in a variety of school environments when necessary. /li liPerforms other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by an administrator. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
