The Electrician service manages and operates the real estate infrastructure and services for EPFL. It is composed of approximately 80 people active in HVAC-MCR techniques and Building Maintenance.Main tasks and responsibilitiesYour tasks and responsibilities as an electrician will be to:- Perform electrical installations, preventive maintenance operations, and repairs on building electrical systems, ensure legal compliance of electrical work according to OIBT standards- Establish OIBT measurement reports following this electrical work- Ensure troubleshooting of electrical systems on the EPFL site- Carry out small electrical modifications in EPFL buildings- Ensure and assume an on-call service on a 24/7 rotation- Carry out maintenance and repair work on the site's electrical systems- Carry out work related to the connection of machines, peripheral equipment- Monitor external electrical companies for small-scale electrical work- Install the cabling and electrical equipment necessary for the organization of events and participate in work on the installation of temporary power supplies for construction sitesProfile- CFC as an electrician or equivalent recognized by the ESTI- Be a holder of an OIBT authorization according to art. 13, or be eligible- Knowledge of NIBT standards- Be ready to work sometimes at night or on weekends and to work staggered hours according to needs- At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance of electrical systems in industry or buildings- Calm, rigorous, meticulous, and methodical personality- Knowledge of English, a category B driving license is essentialWe offer- A friendly and stimulating work atmosphere- A quality work environment- The opportunity for our employees to be involved in demanding and varied projects- All the social benefits of a large company- The opportunity to participate in the development of one of the most dynamic campuses in Europe, where research and teaching missions require exceptional diversity and complexityStart date: immediately or to be agreedMinimum rate: 100%Maximum rate: 100%Type of contract: Permanent contract jidea0486aaen jit0834aen jpiy26aen
