Working closely with the Front Office, Credit Risk and Operations teams, you will contribute to the sound management of complex credit transactions, ensuring compliance with the Bank's risk appetite, internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise, analytical thinking and business partnering within a dynamic international banking environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform independent controls over credit facilities, transactional exposures and clients' economic positions, including the assessment of hedging structures and overall risk exposure.
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring of Commodity Trade Finance (CTF) and Wealth Management (WM) credit facilities in accordance with the Bank's control framework, internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner closely with the Front Office and Credit Analysts by providing independent oversight on the structuring, renewal and lifecycle management of Commodity Trade Finance credit facilities.
  • Support the monitoring and renewal of WM lending facilities while strengthening independent control processes across the portfolio.
  • Prepare & review credit documentation, identify control gaps and escalate potential risks or exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of credit control administrative related tasks.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of Credit Control best practices, processes, procedures and governance.
  • Prepare accurate management reports, credit monitoring documentation and regulatory information within established deadlines.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects, including process optimisation, system enhancements and IT-related developments.
  • Foster close collaboration with internal stakeholders to promote a strong risk culture and operational excellence.
Your profile
  • University degree or professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Economics or another relevant discipline.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience within an international bank, ideally as a Transaction Manager, Trade Finance Risk Manager or in a similar control function with significant exposure to Commodity Trade Finance.
  • Good understanding of credit risk principles, exposure monitoring and hedging mechanisms.
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical mindset - able to challenge, identify risks and propose practical solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously, and perform effectively under pressure with a high level of accuracy.
  • Good accounting and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills, in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in standard banking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Swiss residency mandatory.
