Senior Research Executive, Public Affairs, Geneva

The Senior Research Executive will have the following main responsibilities:

• Being part of the client servicing team during the project cycle.

• Work on successful execution of projects together with other team members as well as other Ipsos country teams.

• Development of research instruments, quantitative and qualitative, manuals, supporting documents.

• Development of reports and presentations for quantitative and qualitative studies. Work on insights to maximize study impact of for the clients.

• Participate in client presentations and visits to clients with other project team members.

Desired qualifications, skills and experiences:

• University degree preferably in marketing research or social sciences

• Experience: at least 3-5 years’ experience in a research environment

• Demonstrated interest in corporate branding and communication as well as public policy research for international organizations and corporate clients

• Accountable for actions, commitment to meeting the expectations

• Ability to work in a team, flexibility and creativity

• Quick learner and independent in the context of an activity

• Great attention to detail but also ability to see the big picture

• Strong analytical skills, knowledge of SPSS statistical package is desirable

• Excellent report writing skills, ability to interpret results and generate insights

• Strong communication skills, ability to communicate in an assertive and diplomatic way

• Tenacity and excitement to work in a challenging environment with different teams and under time constrains

• Internationally minded, team spirited and multiculturally oriented

• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English

• Good command of German is highly desirable; and other languages are an advantage.

• Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills. Knowledge of statistical packages like SPSS or R is an asset.
