Power BI and DW Developer (InformationTechnology/Software)

Our client, a leading Software, Information and

Communication Technologies company, operates internationally

Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London,

Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned

supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational

corporations, public administrations and multinational companies,

research and academic institutes. Role Overview Our client

currently has a vacancy for a Power BI and DW Developer fluent in

English, to offer his / her services as an expert remotely (within

EU). In the context of the first assignment, the successful

candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the

company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.

Requirements University degree in IT combined with relevant IT

professional experience of 7 years; Minimum of 5 years of

progressively responsible experience in IT application design and

development; Proven experience in designing and implementing

solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power BI, Azure

SQL Database, and Synapse; Experience integrating and visualizing

enterprise data, ideally within ERP or similar large-scale systems

including Oracle Fusion; Experience in version control, testing,

and documentation of BI solutions; Experience with Microsoft Power

• BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards, and workspace management);

Experience with Azure SQL Database and Synapse Analytics (data

integration, schema design, optimization); Experience with Data

• governance, security, and role-based access configuration;

Experience with Data automation, refresh scheduling, and PowerShell

scripting; Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integration with BI tools

e.g., SharePoint, Teams); Familiarity with DevOps and CI / CD

practices for BI environments; Professional Microsoft

Certifications in Power BI, Azure SQL Database, Synapse and

SharePoint preferred; Prior experience within the United Nations

• system or similar international organizations is an asset;

Excellent command of the English. Responsibilities Design, create

and update data warehouse datasets and schemas to support new

business requirements; Design, develop, and maintain Power BI

reports and dashboards for management decision-making; Enhance the

existing DW and BI architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise

data governance standards; Enable secure data integration between

Oracle Fusion and other enterprise systems; Support knowledge

transfer and documentation to ensure sustainability of developed

solutions; Review business and functional requirements and prepare

conceptual and technical designs; Develop mockups and wireframes of

reports and dashboards based on user input; Define integration

patterns between Azure SQL Database, Power BI, and other Microsoft

365 services; Develop and deploy new datasets, data models, and

transformations in Azure SQL and Synapse; Configure data access,

workspace security, and role-based permissions in Power BI; Build

and iterate Power BI reports and dashboards through end-user

feedback cycles; Implement data refresh automation and monitoring

workflows; Conduct unit and integration testing and support user

acceptance testing (UAT); Maintain and version control technical

design, code, and deployment Artifacts; Prepare release

documentation for production deployment; Provide post-deployment

support and resolve production issues; Document configuration, data

flows, and maintenance procedures; Develop user guides and

knowledge base articles for the IT Service Desk; Conduct training

and knowledge transfer sessions for internal IT and support

teams.
