Our client is an innovative, global high-tech company headquartered in Switzerland.
On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced candidate for a long-term position, to start immediately or by agreement.

Research Associate in Chemistry (m/f/d), 100%

Main Responsibilities

Design, synthesis and characterization of novel photoactive molecules that enable high-performance materials used in cutting-edge display applications such as LCD, OLED, AR/VR,…
Develop and optimize synthetic routes to improve yield, purity, scalability, and sustainability.
Perform laboratory experiments independently while maintaining accurate documentation
Characterize synthesized materials using analytical methods such as NMR,HPLC,UV-Vis spectroscopy, DSC and other thermal analysis techniques
Analyze data and prepare technical reports and presentations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary Team, formulation and application teams to evaluate Newly synthesized performance in display-related systems.
Support scale-up activities and technology transfer to process development teams when required.
Conduct literature and patent searches to identify emerging technologies and competitive developments.

Your Profile

Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related scientific discipline.
At least 2 years of professional experience in synthetic/preparative chemistry, preferably in an industrial R&D environment.
Sound knowledge of chemistry and chemical technologies, with experience in the synthesis and characterization of organic or functional materials.
Hands-on experience with analytical techniques (e.g., NMR, HPLC, UV-Vis, DSC) and the interpretation of analytical data.
Ability to prepare clear technical documentation and communicate scientific results effectively.
Self-driven team player with strong analytical thinking, communication, and problemsolving skills.
Excellent command of English and German.
