Apprenticeship as an insulation technician - Sheet metal worker CIMO X based in Monthey SA is a Swiss company established in [Year] composed of 450 employees across 80 specialized trades. The training plan lasts for 3 years and leads to a federal vocational certificate. Classes are held at the Community Service Vocational School (EPASC) in Martigny, once a week. The practical training takes place at CIMO, under the supervision of a trainer, while inter-company courses (CIE) are held at the Isolsuisse training center in Münchenbuchsee (BE). The job : As part of your apprenticeship, you will be required to take measurements and read plans to facilitate the installation of insulation materials on pipelines and on various structures to protect them. You will create the layout, cutting, and shaping of aluminum and stainless steel sheet components to be installed. This work plays an important role for the environment and allows for energy savings. Future prospects : After obtaining your federal vocational certificate (CFC), you can consider the following further training : specialist in fire protection, Building Technology Technician ES, or other diplomas.
