About the job 🌟

The Treasury Manager will be a critical part of the ESAB Treasury team and will report directly to the ESAB Corporate Treasury Director. The Treasury Manager will assist in the development and decision making with respect to company financial strategy and execution. In addition, this individual will draw on market best practices to improve ESAB’s corporate finance organization and the strategy of the company.

Main responsibilities 📚

Maintain strong communication and working relationships with banks involved in the structuring and negotiation of product and service terms and pricing.

Provide transactional support on several bank portals and the ESAB Treasury workstation to facilitate efficient global cash management for ESAB.

Execute FX trades with counterparties for FX exposure risk management.

Produce periodic and / or ad-hoc managerial reports.

Use best practices and financial / treasury expertise to devise solutions to address financial and business challenges.

Develop strong partnerships across the finance organization to bring well-rounded solutions to the company as a whole.

Assist in development of and lead the implementation of strategies for tax-efficient borrowing and cash repatriation utilizing internal and external collaboration as appropriate.

Work with business unit leadership to drive cash flow improvement.

Develop and utilize technology solutions to improve treasury processes and transactions.

Support intercompany and external financial analysis as needed by the business and by other corporate functions

Work with ESAB’s internal and external auditors to support all year-end and quarterly audit procedures

Given the dynamic nature of the ESAB business, will also work on special projects as they arise, identified by the CFO and Corporate Treasurer, which have included in the past, acquisition due diligence, Treasury system implementation, and acquisition integration.

What we are looking for ⭐

5+ years of experience in Treasury / Corporate Finance roles - preferably in global environments

2+ years of experience with the implementation and efficient utilization of technology in the treasury function.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related fields.

Fluency in English (both written and verbal).

Excellent MS Excel skills and general IT literacy.

Ability to travel as needed (up to 10%)

Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem‐solving, skills

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) – precise, clear, unambiguous, and comfortable with communicating at all levels.

Drives both strategic and day-to-day initiatives.

Team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others inside and outside of their direct reporting lines by developing strong relationships with Legal, HR, and Finance personnel at business units.

Commitment to results with the ability multi‐task their own workload; retain ownership and accountability.

Ability to operate in a matrix environment directly or indirectly involved

Prioritize and drive results in a fast‐paced dynamic environment.

Nice to have :

Experience in manufacturing industry.

MBA, Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) .

SAP BPC, HFM or other consolidation tools; Ion Treasury Workstation or 360T experience.
