Regulatory / Compliance and Product Stewardship Specialist

Are you a chemistry professional with a strong regulatory & compliance background looking to make a tangible impact in a fast-growing and innovative Swiss material science company?

We’re looking for a Regulatory / Compliance and Product Stewardship Specialist to join our team and manage product stewardship of our textile auxiliaries for the woven, non-woven and knits industries and support new developments in the plastics and leather sectors to ensure global compliance with prevailing norms. This is a part-time (40–60%) on-site role based in Pfäffikon, SZ .

Tasks

What You’ll Do :

• Develop and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) in compliance with GHS and REACH standards
• Identify chemical components affected by upcoming regulatory bans and restrictions
• Support Innovation and R&D teams in risk assessments and compliance for hazardous substances
• Guide supply chain and operations teams in shipping hazardous materials across global jurisdictions
• Stay ahead of and ensure compliance with key global regulations : REACH , BPR , Prop 65 , TSCA , POP , etc
• Provide support for certification processes (e.g., Bluesign , ZDHC , GOTS, AFIRM ) in collaboration with our contract manufacturers in Switzerland and India
• Develop product stewardship documentation in line with these certifications and global quality control standards, e.g. ISO 9001
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve shipping bottlenecks and jurisdictional compliance challenges in Asia, EU, and the Americas
