ROLE DESCRIPTION

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Solutions Manager in the HR applications area to join our dynamic team.

• As the Business Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the successful delivery and maintenance of various HR and operational applications.

• Your expertise in software architecture, integrations, APIs, and project management will be crucial in driving the organization towards efficient and effective outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solution Development: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business challenges and requirements, and develop innovative solutions to address them

• Project Management: Lead and manage end-to-end solution implementation projects, including planning, resource (external and internal) allocation, budgeting, and risk management

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather insights, align objectives, and ensure effective implementation of business solutions

• Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity

• Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for digital transformation and recommend appropriate solutions

• Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth adoption of new business solutions across the organization

• Training and Support: Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring a seamless transition to new processes and technologie

• Vendor Management: Evaluate and select external vendors or partners as necessary, and manage relationships to ensure successful delivery of solutions

• Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project updates, outcomes, and recommendations to stakeholders

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience (5 years) in leading application development and/or off-the-shelf application implementation projects

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and to developer teams (internal or external)

• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools like JIRA Software is a plus.

• Strong understanding of HRIS or ERP software architecture and design principles (SuccessFactors, Workday, SAP Payrolls experience is a plus)

• Experience with relational databases and good SQL knowledge is mandatory

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus

• Experience with API integration or script-based automation is a plus

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
