Lightly AG is an ETH and HSG spin-off pioneering in machine learning and computer vision. Backed by Y Combinator and top-tier investors, our technology is used by global leaders in autonomous driving, medical imaging, and visual inspection.

We are hiring contributors for flexible freelance projects - students are welcome, non students are welcome. You will help evaluate Generative AI outputs in multiple formats, label and create data, and test AI applications.

This is a great opportunity for both students and experts who wants to gain hands-on experience in AI development while making a real impact.

Tasks

Flexible freelance work across evaluation, data creation, and tool testing

In this role, you will

• Review AI multimodal outputs for quality and adherence to simple guidelines.
• Judge clarity, tone, and context in the target language.
• Check that generated content is relevant to the task across different topics.
• Spot issues or gaps, note straightforward improvements.
• Label or create small example sets when needed.
• Try basic workflows or tools, share short feedback.
• Keep clean records, follow instructions, meet timelines.

Requirements

You are a strong candidate if you

• Are fluent in one or more languages, English is the only required language.
• Show careful attention to detail and apply guidelines consistently.
• Are comfortable using AI tools and basic prompting.
• Bring interest or experience in technical, business, creative, or educational topics, nice to have but not required.
• Are a student or an independent freelancer, both are welcome.
• Have flexible availability.
• Hold a valid work permit for Switzerland.
