Job Description:

We are looking for a data science intern to strengthen the Process Science Modeling and Data team of the Advanced Manufacturing organization of Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT). Our organization supports all sites platforms and modalities - all over the globe. Our mission is to make Johnson & Johnsons manufacturing processes faster and more cost-efficient while improving product quality!

We are eager to bring on board a dedicated and motivated masters student or recent graduate to our team for a 6 months this role you will wrap process models into application programming interfaces (APIs) and deploy them to production using continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our business partners to infer the requirements of an application to be built around a process model in pharmaceutical manufacturing

• Wrap the process model into an API

• Set up a CI/CD pipeline for application testing and deployment

• Construct a Docker container to run the application

• Document the developed application and drive the hand-over to the users

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a masters program or equivalent experience in computer science engineering science or other related field recent graduates (12 months ago or less) are eligible too.

• Proficiency in programming preferably in python as well as version control with git

• Experience with commercial software development DevOps CI/CD and Docker are a plus

• Motivated results-driven entrepreneurial work ethic

• Good problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams.
