Senior Data Scientist – Machine Learning & Python

IN SHORT

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist (80-100%) with a deep passion for machine learning statistical modeling and scalable AI to join our Data and Analytics team at our Zürich office. The ideal candidate will be able to create robust data pipelines with Airflow write production-ready ML software using Python and manage the model lifecycle through Azure ML.

Your mission : You will join our Data and Analytics team in building a stable scalable data platform that drives business insights across marketing supply management food planning and delivery. Your work will also focus on designing and maintaining accurate forecasting models to support menu planning and food distribution helping FELFEL enhance and optimize the user experience for everyone enjoying FELFEL fridges and Gavetti coffee.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design develop and deploy advanced machine learning models for predictive analytics including time series forecasting recommendation systems and potentially image and text recognition.
• Develop reliable reusable ML code and integrate models into production environments using Python best practices.
• Manage the full machine learning lifecycle from experimentation and training to deployment and monitoring through Azure ML.
• Build and maintaindata pipelinesand automation workflows usingApache Airflow leveragingSnowflakeas the central source of truth to deliver clean consistent and model-ready data for reliable analytics and machine learning.
• Collaborate with data engineers analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into machine learning solutions.
• Conduct statistical analysis and validate model performance to ensure measurable business impact.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within our data science community of practice.
