A lovely family with three children living in Vandeouvres, Geneva is looking for a Live-in or Live-out Nanny Housekeeper with cooking abilities . A candidate with a driving license is an advantage.

The family lives in a three-storey house and they have no pets.

  • Start date : January or February. The family is flexible until they find the right candidate.
  • Children ages : 2 boys aged 9 and 3 and a girl aged 11. The youngest child attends the nursery.
  • Conditions : Shared care. The mom helps with the children
  • Family language : Danish and English
  • Candidate language required : Fluency in English
  • Schedule : 40-45 hours per week, Monday to Friday it can be from 1 pm to 9 pm. The family needs help during the evenings to help with dinner and put children on bed.

Main tasks : Household chores :

  • House cleaning
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Dinner preparation
  • Occasional help with extra babysitting or weekends, e.g. prepare the breakfast one Saturday per month.

    • Childcare :

  • Pick up children from school and take them to the after-school activities
  • Indoor and outdoor play and activities with the children (arts and crafts, reading stories, games).
  • Put children to bed at 8 pm and read bed stories.

    • For a live-in candidate , accommodation includes a private bedroom and bathroom. A monthly salary-in-kind deduction of CHF 990 salary in kind per month for the accommodation and meals. Preference will be given to candidates already residing in Switzerland.

    For live-out applicants , you must live nearby for ease of commute.

    Requirements

  • Swiss or EU Passport / Swiss Work Permit Required
  • Proven Experience : Previous work as a nanny-housekeeper in private households
  • Valid References : Written recommendations or job certificates for verification
  • Strong Cleaning Skills : High standards in cleanliness and organization
  • Confident in Cooking : Ability to prepare family meals
  • Willingness to Travel
  • Fluent English : Proficiency required
  • Driver's License : An advantage but not essential
  • Live-out applicants should reside nearby
  • Key Traits : Dependable, well-organized, and warm-hearted
