Social Media Manager

The Media Channels Team at Red Bull Switzerland shapes how our brand shows up on social media. With a deep understanding of our audiences, platforms and media consumption habits, we define strategies that grow reach, relevance and engagement across our social channels.

As a Social Media Manager, you will be a key member of our Media Channels Team and help shape the strategic direction of Red Bull’s social media presence in Switzerland. You will identify new opportunities across platforms and translate audience insights, trends and business priorities into clear strategies and actions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media Strategy & Growth

You develop and continuously evolve our social media strategy with a strong focus on TikTok and Instagram. You translate audience insights, business priorities and platform developments into clear strategies that drive long-term reach, relevance and engagement. You think beyond individual posts and campaigns and understand how channels, formats and communities work together to build long-term audience relevance and strengthen Red Bull’s social media presence.

Platform & Audience Expertise

You closely monitor the social media landscape, identify trends and platform developments early and assess what they mean for Red Bull. You have a deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms – from algorithms and engagement mechanics to communities, consumption behaviours and platform culture.
You stay close to our communities, understand what they care about and how they engage with Red Bull, and translate these insights into clear recommendations for our channels, content and communication.

Social Media Management

You manage and strategically develop Red Bull’s locally relevant social media channels across sports, dance, music and brand, ensuring a strong and relevant presence for our audiences. You actively manage and engage with our communities, foster conversations and strengthen the relationship between Red Bull and its audiences. You use performance and community insights to continuously optimize our social media activities and identify new opportunities, and test new platform features and approaches.

Collaboration & Innovation

You work closely with colleagues across Content, Communications, Creator Marketing, Sports Marketing, Culture Marketing and Brand Marketing. As a social media expert, you bring a strong platform and audience perspective into projects, share relevant trends and insights, and help strengthen social media expertise across the organization.

YOUR PROFILE:

• You bring minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Social Media, with a proven track record of successfully delivering impactful social media campaigns and communication initiatives.
• You are a true social native with a deep understanding of relevant platforms, their dynamics, and their language.
• You are passionate about lifestyle topics such as music, fitness, gaming, and sports, and stay closely connected to social media trends and the interests of younger audiences.
• You have a strong eye for design, visual communication, storytelling, and copywriting, and you fully identify with the red Bull brand.
• You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. German language skills are a strong plus.
