Retail Training Manager - Luxury Watches

For a prestigious Swiss luxury watchmaking Maison, we are currently seeking an experienced International Retail Training Manager to develop and deploy the Retail Training strategy across its global boutique network.

Based at the Maison’s headquarters in Switzerland and reporting to the Vice President Sales, this highly international role combines training strategy, content development, facilitation and hands-on coaching in the field.

The objective: bring the Maison’s heritage, products and storytelling to life, elevate the selling ceremony and client experience, and ultimately contribute to business performance across the global retail network.

YOUR MISSION

Training Content & Development

• Design, develop and continuously update training programs covering products & collections, brand heritage, storytelling, sales techniques and client experience.
  
• Create engaging content adapted to different formats: classroom, e-learning, webinars and in-store training.
  
• Work closely with Sales, Product and Marketing teams to translate the Maison's strategy and product launches into impactful training initiatives.
  
• Ensure all training content remains consistent with the Maison's identity, luxury retail standards and evolving needs from the field.
  

Training Delivery & Retail Coaching

• Deliver inspiring training sessions internationally, both at headquarters and within the boutique network.
  
• Provide hands-on coaching directly on the sales floor, working closely with Boutique Managers and their teams.
  
• Strengthen the selling ceremony, storytelling and overall client experience.
  
• Develop and deploy Train-the-Trainer programs to ensure consistency and excellence across markets.
  
• Build a strong connection between headquarters and local retail teams through regular training initiatives and webinars.
  

Digital Learning

• Animate and continuously develop the Maison's e-learning platform.
  
• Enrich the platform with relevant content and media according to evolving business needs.
  
• Engage and animate the international user community.
  
• Coordinate external partners involved in platform development and content creation, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Several years of experience within luxury retail, ideally within the watchmaking or jewellery sector.
  
• Solid experience in training design, facilitation and delivery, ideally within an international retail environment.
  
• Excellent understanding of luxury retail, client experience and selling standards (prior experience in Retail Sales and-or boutique management would be a serious advantage).
  
• Strong affinity with products, craftsmanship and storytelling, with the ability to make technical content engaging and accessible.
  
• Outstanding presentation, facilitation, coaching and public-speaking skills.
  
• Comfortable working directly with boutique teams and coaching on the sales floor.
  
• International mindset and ability to operate effectively within a multicultural environment.
  
• Highly organized, autonomous, collaborative and detail-oriented.
  
• Strong business orientation and commitment to excellence.
  
• Fluent English and French is essential; additional languages are a strong asset.
  
• Availability for regular international travel (no home-office work).
