Corporate Functions includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Corporate Office, Risk and Tax departments.
Based in Geneva, this position reports to the Head of Group ESG & Stewardship which is part of the Corporate Office.
Your role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our sustainability team, focusing on enhancing our reporting processes in compliance with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), EU Taxonomy reporting and sustainability reporting requirements under the Swiss Civil Code.
You will play a crucial role in analysing, compiling and aggregating data pertinent to sustainability reporting for financial institutions and contribute to the drafting and refinement of our sustainability reports.
You will be in charge of :
- Data management : Collect, analyse and aggregate sustainability data from various internal teams and create required data to meet ESRS, EU Taxonomy and Swiss Civil Code requirements.
- Reporting : Assist in writing and editing sustainability reports, ensuring they meet the regulatory guidelines and effectively communicate our sustainability initiatives and performance.
- Collaboration : Work closely with internal stakeholders across different departments ensuring alignment with broader sustainability goals.
- Process documentation : Identify and implement process documentation, including improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our sustainability reporting.
- Compliance monitoring : Keep abreast of regulatory changes in sustainability reporting standards and advise on necessary adjustments to data collection and reporting practices.
Your profile
Proven experience in business analysis, data management or a related role in sustainability reporting.Previous experience in financial services, particularly wealth and / or asset management.Demonstrated understanding of corporate sustainability and environmental compliance.Strong ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data and derive meaningful insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English), with the ability to clearly articulate findings and recommendations in reports.High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling data and drafting reports.Familiarity with the CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, Swiss Civil Code and other relevant sustainability reporting frameworks.Effective organisational and project management skills to manage timelines and deliverables across multiple teams.Proficient in data analysis tools, experience with sustainability reporting software is an advantage.Must be resident in Switzerland.Start date : 1 October 2024
