We have been exclusively mandated to recruit the position of Head of Global Product Management Lubricants for our client, a leading chemical lubricant company in the greater Bern area. AUFGABENBESCHREIBUNG :

In this dynamic role, you will be tasked with :

  • Gather and analyze market and competitive intelligence
  • Manage product and segment growth
  • Develop value propositions
  • Support product launches and sales
  • Oversee application engineering
  • Drive product segment strategy and pricing management
  • Hold global responsibility for product and application management
  • Implement corporate strategy
  • Manage and develop team members
  • Participate in industry events
  • Support sales talks and contract negotiations

ERFORDERLICHES PROFIL :

The desired profile covers the following points :

  • A very strong background in lubricants, preferably in cooling lubricants in the metalworking industry, is a must
  • Preferred background in basic technical training as a chemical laboratory technician or machining
  • University degree in chemistry, mechanical engineering, or related field
  • Additional training in business administration
  • Demonstrated success in international product and application management within the metalworking industry, specifically in machining manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or toolmaking sectors
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives is a plus
  • Proficiency in English and German required; knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
