Home school Teacher

Heritage Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Home School Teacher to join a family in the Geneva area and support an 8 year old child with a structured yet creative project-based learning approach. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering personalized education in a home-school environment fostering academic growth and nurturing a love for learning.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that meet the educational needs and interests of the child.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to engage the childand accommodate different learning styles.
• Monitor and assess the childsprogress providing constructive feedback and adapting the curriculum as necessary.
• Create a safe positive and enriching learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents to discuss the childsprogress and educational strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and curricular developments.
• Organize educational activities trips and projects to enhance the learning experience.
• Stay informed on legal and regulatory requirements for homeschooling in Switzerland.

Essential Qualifications

Place of Assignment : Family home in Geneva Switzerland with occasional travels

Type of Position : Full-time Home School Teacher live-out

Accommodation : Provided when travelling with the family

Start Date : As soon as possible

Engagement : Temporary until the end of June with possible extension until the end of August

Schedule : Monday through Friday (exact hours to be discussed)

Availability : Flexibility required

Remuneration : CHF gross per annum
