Our client, a renowned global technology giant is recruiting for a Director of SoC Architecture to join their expanding research facility in Zurich, Switzerland.

This Research centre is at the heart of innovation for future computing systems. The Director of SoC Architecture will head up a team exploring new computing architectures for next generation wireless systems, and will drive an efficient system / hardware / software architecture to meet product requirements, achieving highest possible performance at maximum energy efficiency. This is a fascinating opportunity for a SoC Architecture expert looking to lead a multicultural team of top researchers in this exciting field.

The right candidate will have :

• Strong SoC architecture expertise within high-performance computing systems
• A thorough understanding of SoC and system architecture, with a strong grasp of power and performance trade-offs, area and energy efficiency improvement, and how SoC data and control flows interact
• Good knowledge of hardware-software interfaces and interactions
• Excellent leadership ability
• Fluent communication skills in English
