Senior Operational Risk Manager

As a Senior Operational Risk Specialist, you are a seasoned professional dedicated to strengthening the risk management and resilience framework of a distinguished private banking institution based in Geneva. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the risk management team, ensuring a robust and adaptive approach to operational risk in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsabilities :

• Evaluate and enhance the control environment, pinpointing critical controls to mitigate risks effectively.
• Develop and roll out a second-line control testing framework to ensure the integrity of risk management processes.
• Conduct control tests as defined, ensuring thorough assessment and validation.
• Sustain and update the risk management framework to align with evolving regulatory and business needs.
• Prepare and deliver reports to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations to address risk exposures.

Your profile :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Switzerland, with a focus on audit, operational risk, or business risk management, ideally within the private banking sector.
• Proven expertise in conducting control testing and assessments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize issues and make informed decisions.
• Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
• Ability to work autonomously while managing complex tasks efficiently.
• Exceptional organizational capabilities to handle multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English, with additional language skills (French) considered an advantage.
