Als traditionsreiches, führendes Universitätsspital ist das zur Insel Gruppe gehörende Inselspital medizinisches Kompetenz- und Hochtechnologiezentrum mit internationaler Ausstrahlung und gleichzeitig Ausbildungs- und Forschungsstätte ersten Ranges. Das Swiss Center for Brain Health and Stroke, früher Stroke Research Center Bern, ist ein weltweit anerkanntes Forschungszentrum für patientenorientierte klinische Forschung und Vorreiter bahnbrechender Fortschritte in der Schlaganfallbehandlung (mechanische Thrombektomie, Management von Hirnblutungen, und Dissektionen). In Zusammenarbeit mit der Clinical Trial Unit (CTU), koordiniert durch die spezifische Neuro-CTU (NCTU) und unterstützt durch wettbewerbsfähige öffentliche und industrielle Fördermittel, hat das Swiss Center for Brain Health and Stroke erfolgreich mehrere grosse, randomisierte, kontrollierte, internationale multizentrische Studien durchgeführt (z. B. SWIFT DIRECT Lancet 2022, ELAN NEJM 2023, SWITCH Lancet 2024). Mehrere weitere Projekte laufen (z. B. DO-IT NCT06571149, TECNO NCT05499832, ELAPSE NCT05976685).

Das erwartet Sie

  • Betreuung und Koordination des DO-IT Trials, insbesondere in europäischen Ländern (CTIS), im Vereinigten Königreich und Australien.
  • Start-up-Aktivitäten : Planung, Einreichung bei Ethikkommissionen und Behörden sowie Überprüfung von Verträgen und Budgets.
  • Regulatorisches Management : Sicherstellung der Einhaltung lokaler Regularien in den genannten Regionen.
  • Kommunikation : Direkter Austausch mit Studienzentren, lokalen Ansprechpartner : innen, Sponsoren und CROs.
  • Teamwork : Enge Zusammenarbeit in einem engagierten, interdisziplinären Team bestehend aus Ärzt : innen, Forschenden und Koordinator : innen.
  • Unterstützung weiterer Studien : Mitarbeit an anderen Projekten der NCTU Bern, um Synergien zu fördern.

Das bringen Sie mit

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium (Bachelor / Master of Science) im naturwissenschaftlichen oder medizinischen Bereich.
  • Fundierte Erfahrung im Management internationaler klinischer Studien; Kenntnisse von CTIS und regulatorischen Prozessen in Europa, UK und Australien sehr hilfreich.
  • Vertrautheit mit UK-Submission-Prozessen (IRAS) von Vorteil.
  • Ausgeprägte Selbstständigkeit, Organisationstalent und Eigeninitiative.
  • Exzellente Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch und Deutsch (Wort und Schrift).
  • Idealerweise ein gültiges GCP-Zertifikat und praktische Erfahrung in der klinischen Forschung.
