Role Overview

Randstad Digital Switzerland is seeking a skilled Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the implementation of Microsoft Purview DLP solutions. In this role, you’ll provide technical expertise, ensure seamless deployment, and guide clients through effective policy design to enhance data protection measures and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Understanding the Environment :

Assess client-specific business use cases, data handling policies, and technology landscapes.

Review current Microsoft Purview implementations and identify gaps in data protection measures.

Policy Design and Simulation :

Configure, test, and fine-tune DLP policies tailored to unique business needs.

Implement simulation and pilot testing to minimize disruptions and refine effectiveness.

Onboarding Applications and Endpoints :

Extend DLP capabilities to critical applications and devices.

Integrate configurations seamlessly with existing cloud and on-premise systems.

Deployment and Monitoring :

Lead strategy creation and oversee deployment across applications and endpoints.

Monitor user feedback and adapt policies to maintain productivity and security balance.

Communication Compliance and Insider Threat Management :

Use Microsoft Purview to implement compliance monitoring and real-time threat management.

Set up alerting mechanisms and integrate DLP with broader threat monitoring services.

Post-Deployment Optimization :

Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize DLP configurations.

Periodically review and improve policies based on performance and compliance data.

M365 Security Expertise :

Guide the secure adoption of Microsoft tools, including M365 Copilot.

Support DLP integration with other M365 security controls and compliance projects.

Your Profile

Deep expertise in Microsoft Purview and Data Loss Prevention strategies.

Experience in policy design, simulation, and large-scale deployments.

Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments and data protection standards.

Proven track record in stakeholder collaboration and delivering knowledge transfer.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and its security ecosystem is essential.
