Description de poste
Are you interested in working in an exciting, fast-paced environment? Do you want to continue your career by being exposed to interesting and multifaceted projects while learning from industry leaders?

At EY, you will have the chance to further develop and enhance your career on a global scale that is as unique as you are! We will provide you with support, an inclusive culture, and the relevant technology to enable you to become the best version of yourself.

Our Financial Services Organisation is unique among the Big 4 firms, being the only one with a functional specialisation in the Financial Services sector that is transnationally integrated across the Europe West region.

As a leader in risk in Switzerland and the Europe West region, we strive to help organisations navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape. With an increasing push for internationally aligned regulations for financial institutions, our team is uniquely positioned to drive the development of our business and talent.

The opportunity: your next adventure awaits

Within Financial Services Consulting, the Risk team covers a broad range of functions dedicated to providing high-value, trusted regulatory focused audit and advisory services to clients. As part of the Risk team, the Prudential Risk team works with diverse financial services companies that range from major global banks to insurance companies and specialized private and regional banks. We support our clients with regulatory and risk management topics, including tailored solutions in the identification, measurement, steering and monitoring of risks as well as with our expertise in implementing and meeting regulatory requirements in the field of risk management.

Your primary role will be to help financial institutions strengthen their non-financial risk management capabilities, with a particular focus on Operational Risk Management and Operational Resilience. Beyond meeting regulatory expectations, you will support clients in identifying critical vulnerabilities, reducing the likelihood and impact of operational disruptions, and building more resilient business operations. You will contribute to both consulting and assurance engagements, helping clients enhance their governance, controls, processes and resilience frameworks while driving forward-looking solutions that shape the future of risk management.

Your key responsibilities
  • Be able to apply your risk management knowledge in banking and financial products
  • Participate in consulting projects with a focus on non-financial risk related regulatory and supervisory matters
  • Focus on performing targeted regulatory audits for our clients in the finance industry in coordination with relevant regulators (primarily FINMA)
  • Be encouraged to investigate new risk areas (e.g., data analytics, AI)
What we look for
  • Advanced graduate university degree (Master's, MBA, PhD) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, any other business-related field
  • Motivation to work on consulting projects and regulatory audits within multi-disciplinary teams, especially in the areas of primary non-financial risks (such as operational risk, operational resilience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services in non-financial risk management (e.g. Operational Resilience, BCM, TPRM, etc.), either in a control function, or through consulting or assurance related work
  • Motivation, flexibility and self-drive to constantly learn and acquire new skills and knowledge
  • Fluency in English and French is a pre-requisite, with German/Italian as an added advantage
  • Swiss work permit, or ability to obtain a Swiss work permit (e.g. through EU citizenship)
Ideally, you'll also have
  • Working towards or already completed a relevant professional qualification (e.g., FRM, CFA)
  • Experience with Geneva based financial institutions, especially banks and wealth/asset managers
What's in it for you

Here at EY, you'll have the chance to build a truly exceptional experience. We'll empower you with the latest technology, surround you with high-performing teams, and provide the global scale and diverse and inclusive culture you need to discover your full potential. Through our coaching and training programs, you'll develop the skills you need to stay relevant today and, in the future, - all while building a network of colleagues, mentors, and leaders who will be on the journey with you at EY and beyond.
