Summary :

This position will be responsible for the promotion of ADM’s Health &Wellness portfolio primarily targeting Beverage customers. The focus of this position is on building new business and growing sales, but will also involve participation in product development, technical service and applications. The territory will be assigned within EMEA. The successful candidate will report to the Sales Director Health&Wellnesss in F&B EMEA. The position could be home-office based depending on the current location for the successful candidate.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Deliver the revenue and gross margin objectives in the region
  • Upon a thorough analysis of the market needs and challenges, consumer trends and competitors’ landscape, define a regional commercial strategy including customer segmentation, channel identification and cross-selling opportunities with other ingredients within ADM’s Health & Wellness portfolio
  • Recommend and build the relevant portfolio for the region in collaboration with Management & R&D
  • Define the relevant application supports to meet the customer demands and execute by collaborating with their application interface and leveraging the regional / global application structures.
  • Define and execute on the regional technical service support process and organization.
  • Align go-to-market activities in the region and coordinate with marketing.
  • Attend sales events, exhibits, and trade shows.

Job Requirements :

  • Must have a minimum of 3- 5 years of successful experience in B2B Sales and product management of functional ingredients ( prebiotics / probiotic / postbiotics and botanical extracts)
  • Prefer candidates who have BS in biochemistry / microbiology / chemistry / pharmacy / food science or similar degree in human life sciences.
  • Previous leadership experience in successful market development, introduction and commercialization of new products, and project management
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across matrix organization and preferably at global level
  • Key performance metrics include : revenue, Gross Margin (GM), and Operational Profit (OP)
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages will be valued
