The programme

This is a unique 18-month experience where we offer you a permanent position along with a specific programme with rotations in different teams to build your expertise and professional skills.

Based on a permanent contract, our graduate programme includes on- and off-the-jobponents, placing the emphasis on teamwork but also exploring your skill sets, furthering your development and setting specific objectives.

Technology & Operations (Tech&Ops) designs and integrates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of Pictet Group's key innovations, while ensuring the business operations continuity and the development of Custodian and Fund Administration services.

The Graduate-DevOps Engineer report to the Infrastructure & Production department who is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting IT infrastructure for the entire Pictet Group. It also provides user support and production monitoring, with a focus on maintaining a high level of service and security that meets client needs.

Your role

As a Graduate - DevOps Engineer, you will work in a DevOps environmentprising a wide range of experts in on premises and cloud infrastructure, in DataOps, in Identity & Access Management and in cybersecurity. You will, contribute to developing cloud-based and on premises technical solutions, operate them in close collaboration with the Group's developers and technicalmunity.

During the graduate programme you will develop solid skills and acquire experience in different field. You will be contributing to building the next-gen solutions for the Group's IT ecosystem. This will entail :

• Researching, designing, building and operating reliable solutions for the Group's cloud-based applications and IT infrastructure,prising a balanced mix of Microsoft and Unix environments and different cloud providers.
• Aligning with business owners, developers, infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity and risk managers to apply standards and optimise platforms and practices.
• Performing tasks expected of an infrastructure engineer : devops, scripting, infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Puppet and Ansible, CI / CD, etc. Languages used will include Go, Python and Java as well as bash and Powershell scripting.

The programme is made up of different stints in various Pictet units and departments. You will have the opportunity to do rotations in Cybersecurity, Cloud Platforms, Data management, Datacentre Services and Development & Integration.

At the end of the programme you will be ready to take full ownership of a position as DevOps Engineer.
