Join Atinary Technologies in Lausanne and help us transform R&D from isolated, manual experimentation into a continuous, compounding engine for discovery. A Day in the Life at Atinary

As a Full Stack Developer here, your day is a dynamic blend of deep focus and high-velocity collaboration. One week you might work on architecting robust lab integrations that close the loop between physical experimentation and digital analysis. Another week, you might focus on crafting agentic features that guide scientists through complex discovery workflows. We recognize that great ideas need room to marinate, so you're encouraged to organize your schedule to make space for focus work and explore new concepts.

Our environment is built on shared ownership; you’ll engage in meaningful code reviews and work alongside peers to ship impactful product updates that evolve SDLabs®, the Atinary platform. Whether you are optimizing backend logic or refining responsive UI components, your work directly empowers researchers to solve real-world challenges.

• React, Typescript and fully typed REST API in the Frontend

Requirements

Must-have:

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and/or Python
  
• Experience building single-page applications and engaging user interfaces
  
• Backend development experience with a focus on maintainability and performance
  
• Working experience with LLM-guided development
  
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex problems and generating actionable insights
  
• Excellent communication in English, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical team members
  
• Bachelor's or preferably Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related field
  

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge in distributed architectures
  
• Experience with AWS
  
• Knowledge in data engineering and/or automation
  
• Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g. HIPAA, SOC 2)
  
• Knowledge in Chemistry and/or biochemistry

Requirements
Must-have: 3+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, or cloud infrastructure roles. OR 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering and 1+ year of experience in DevOps, site reliability, or cloud infrastructure roles. Experience with AWS. Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions or similar). Experience with containerization and orchestration. Hands-on scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu or similar). Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments. Nice-to-have: Startup experience and comfort with rapid iteration. Familiarity with ML workloads, AI and GenAI systems.
