Alquant is a Swiss Fintech focused on engineering the financial solutions and investment experience of tomorrow. Through our different solutions (investment research web platform, digital investment products showroom, in-house investment products) we help our clients achieve the high-quality results they require with modern technology.

Tasks

Design, develop, and maintain our diverse web platforms , ensuring a seamless user experience and scalable solutions.
Architect and refine our data pipelines and data warehouse to guarantee high-quality, reliable data that drives informed decision-making.
Design, develop, and thoroughly document our internal backtesting Python library , supporting robust and efficient strategy evaluations.
Collaborate with the investment team to refine existing trading strategies and implement innovative new ones.
Propose and explore new ideas to enhance our investment processes , from data acquisition and analysis to trade execution.
Make a meaningful impact across the company’s entire tech stack, working closely with the CTO and a fellow Software Engineer to achieve ambitious goals.

Requirements

Education & Technical Skills :

BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field.

A few years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a small company environment.

Strong technical background with proficiency in Python and JavaScript / TypeScript .

Hands-on experience with key libraries and frameworks, such as Pandas , NumPy , and Vue.js .

Nice to Have] Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).

Nice to Have] Experience working with the Snowflake Data Platform .

Personal Attributes :

A strong drive to tackle complex challenges and quickly learn new technologies .

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively in English .
