Hotel Regina WengenBussigny, Vaud, CHCome and join us!The Hotel Regina is ideally located in the renowned village of Wengen, in the heart of the Jungfrau region, offering a privileged setting among Switzerland's exceptional landscapes, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Sous-Chef(fe)Within a young and dynamic team, your mission will be to assist the Chef in coordinating the work of the entire brigade of the renowned Chez Meyer’s Restaurant, the Jack’s Brasserie, the Banquets, and breakfast services. As a passionate individual in cuisine and hospitality, you will serve as an example to the teams and help the Chef in the daily management of the kitchen teams : supervising the pace and quality of work, while bringing innovative ideas and ensuring the preparation of dishes in compliance with HACCP and according to Relais & Châteaux standards.CONTRACT : Permanent – starting date : April 2025MISSIONS : Non-exhaustive list of activities & tasks
- Production of culinary items – following HACCP hygiene rules
- Management of goods (freshness, quantity)
- Respect and control of preparations and deadlines.
- Respect for customer requirements regarding dishes served and allergies.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in production and storage areas
- Participation, monitoring, and control of service setup.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the service of quality established by the Chef.
- Management of purchases, stocks, and inventories.
- Analysis and management of costs (mastery of ratios, technical sheets, explanations of any discrepancies…).
- Management of administrative tasks and schedules.
- Animating the team and assisting in maintaining the motivation of the members.
- Assisting in the development of collaborators.
- Ability to react appropriately to complaints or specific requests from customers.REQUIREMENTS :
- 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Training in hospitality / kitchen required.
- Language skills : German, French or English.MAIN QUALITIES :
- Organizational skills and diplomacy.
- Sense of responsibility and customer service.
- Motivated and eager to learn.
