ASIC Development Engineer (80-100%)

Introduction

Together with a highly motivated team, you will develop mixed-signal ASICs, which form the core of every Belimo actuator or sensor produced in the millions. You will have technical responsibility for the analog part, which is designed externally by our ASIC supplier.

Key Responsibilities

• Specification and Verification of the analog part of the ASIC
• Close cooperation and problem solving together with the ASIC supplier (that develops the analog part)
• Technical interface to the internal digital part team, as well as to the internal system verification team (that verifies the ASIC within a Belimo device)
• Development and maintenance of circuit boards used for the development and qualification of the ASICs
• Analog circuit design of new functions

Required Expertise

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, ideally with a specialization in microelectronics or analog electronics
• Several years of experience in analog circuit design and measurement technology including requirements engineering and verification methods
• Experience in microelectronics is a big plus
• Interest in digital circuit design (Verilog or VHDL)
• Enthusiasm for new technologies and innovative ideas, commitment, a strong focus on quality, and the ability to work independently
• An open, outgoing personality, as well as business-level proficiency in German and English
