Network & Telecom Engineer
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
In collaboration with the Head of Network & Telecom, your principal duties are to :
- Ensure the implementation, proper functioning, maintenance and support of the network, telephony and videoconferencing systems.
- Implement, support, maintain and monitor firewall infrastructure.- Handle daily events and problems which may occur in the network, telecoms and security and provide first and second level support.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.- Proven experience and excellent skills with :
1. Cisco data centre network infrastructure and Cisco Wireless2. Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration3. Firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN and Intrusion Protection Systems4.
Load balancer BIG IP (LTM, APM and AWAF)5. Web security proxy and content filtering
- Recognized Network / Security / Telecom certifications are an asset.- Eager and ready to learn new technologies.- Flexible, polyvalent, with ability to deal with variable workload.
- Team player and ability to work with autonomy.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Available to work occasionally outside normal business hours.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
