POSITION OVERVIEW :
As the Chief Financial Officer of the Confectionery Division, you will play a dual role, also acting as CFO for a newly acquired entity.
This role places you on the global management team and involves local responsibility for Finance, Order Administration & Export, and IT.
This position is crucial for developing business models for the Confectionery Division and overseeing their execution, requiring a high level of business acumen and the ability to think strategically across company and international borders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage the annual closing processes, including liaising with external auditors for all division companies.
Oversee financial planning and reporting in accordance with Dutch and German GAAP for all division companies.
Maintain close contact and build relationships with other companies within the division.
Act as an interface and sparring partner for the Group CFO and the Top Management Team.
Ensure compliance with local tax requirements and the availability of IT systems.
Oversee the Order Administration & Export functions, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Academic financial education and significant experience at a managerial level.
At least 8 years of management experience in a commercial function within a medium-sized company or a distinct business unit of a larger company.
Proven track record in the commercial management of international subsidiaries.
Extensive international and intercultural work experience.
Fluent in Dutch and English; German is advantageous.
Expertise in accounting, controlling, cash planning & forecasting, taxes; basic legal knowledge relevant to machinery manufacturing.
Willingness to travel approximately 15-20% to various group sites.
Hands-on mentality, result-oriented, and down-to-earth approach.
Combines intelligence, integrity, and financial skills with strong people management abilities.
Team player, leader, and coach focused on creating an inspiring and motivating work environment.
Excellent communication and networking skills, with a talent for negotiation and managing relationships with stakeholders such as customers, banks, auditors, authorities, and suppliers.
