Essential responsibilities and duties
The HR Business Partner is responsible for all HR activities within his / her scope of responsibility such as :
- Drives implementation of all HR processes including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and other processes as applicable
- Work with both operational and strategic tasks with focus on culture, people and organization
- Understands business needs and provides support and suggestions when applying HR policies and processes. This to achieve long-term objectives, ensure that we are compliant with HR and labor law regulations and to add most value to business within required areas
- Proactively support & suggest management on HR topics while demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the business; provide coaching and support to management around key people management activities (e.g., hiring and retention, performance management, employee relations, talent management, learning and development, etc.)
Additionally, the HRBP will work on monthly activities and ad-hoc projects across functions and countries (CH, DE, NL, IT, US) such as :
Reporting & Analytics (Global)
Monthly HR controlling data management at Global HUG level for headcounts, labor cost & HR KPIsAnnual Budget definition and follow up with Director of departmentStrong partnership with Finance Controlling team to ensure data consistencyCompensation & Benefits (Global)
Manage Annual salary review process with sites and departments to ensure appropriate validationEnsure consistency with Annual Performance Review process to maintain good talent retentionCollaborate with Global HR team / Site Manager on Annual bonuses process for all subsidiariesHR Administration (CH only)
Support in HR day-to-day business (contract management, reference letters, entries and exits, etc.) with support of our local HR SpecialistQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar Swiss certificationProven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, preferably within Global Manufacturing environmentExperience leading projects and implementing new proceduresIn-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, labor relations and legal regulations in SwitzerlandStrong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and employee relationsExcellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organizationAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insightsLeadership & Real team playerGerman native and professional English skillsjid8659cfda jit0208a
