This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.

Job Purpose and Impact

Join the systematic trading team with Cargill's World Trading group. The team is trading futures and options on commodities across the globe. It runs a diversified portfolio of non-fundamental and fundamental strategies in a fully systematic setup. The team is now looking to for a quant researcher / trader with experience in metals or energies fundamentals

Key Accountabilities

Lead the discovery, prototyping and design of trading strategies and portfolio construction

• Benchmark, back test and stress-test models to identify true sensitivities and risks.
• Dive in Cargill’s proprietary dataset to extract trading signals or improve strategies
• Maintain and enhance code repository and models infrastructure in a scalable fashion.
• Monitor and improve existing portfolios and daily execution
• Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems.
