ST is looking for a Field Application Engineer to support ST's STM32MP product family based out of our Austin TX office.

Requirements :

Embedded MPU HW & embedded Linux development environment experience mandatory.
Linux Kernel device driver development and schematic reading capability a must.
Familiarity with STM32 MCU HW peripherals, STM32 MCU code development and STM32 MCU ecosystem highly desirable.
Will work as part of a team supporting major MPU customer programs in the Americas region.
Will work closely with MPU marketing, program management and applications management to drive MPU based product programs to production.
Will support customer product design via direct MPU technical support, customer trainings, example documentation and customer presentations.

Profile

4 to 10 years of experience

Fluency in C

Embedded Linux build tools (Yocto)

MPU HW design

Linux environment bring up

Device tree management

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills embedded systems knowledge

Linux graphics solutions

Connectivity peripheral knowledge (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, Modbus, CAN bus, etc.)

At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base annual salary range for this role is between $113,280 – $161,400 USD.
