Tiger Pause After-School Program Tutor

Work Hours / Schedule : 6-10 hours / week : Must commit to 2 days / week Work hours are between 3 : 30-6pm Monday-Thursday.

Primary purpose of position : Work study students will be assisting in an afterschool program for elementary-age children in several locations off campus.

Duties and responsibilities : Work with individual students or with a small group of students as instructed by facilitators from Tiger Pause, Help motivate students, Provide support for Tiger Pause staff including serving meals and cleaning.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required : A desire to interact with children or youth in a task directed manner, Flexibility and patience, Responsible and self-motivated, Ability to take initiative, Must have energy and balance responsibility and play.

Education Requirements / Experience : No experience necessary; interest in children required

Additional Information :

This is located off-campus and transportation is limited. However, carpooling is a possibility. Students are required to attend an orientation and training session at the start of each semester. Students are hired pending completion of all clearances
