StellenbeschreibungAbility to communicate fluently in written and oral English plus languages between the European languages : French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and / or Chinese Mandarin, Chinese Cantonese, Japanese, Russian. Above average skills in tactful, diplomatic crisis and problem-handling. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate with authority, accuracy, clarity, and charisma. Previous experience with diverse Luxury / Premium hospitality / cruise lines or Entertainment services.
JOB PURPOSE
In redefining luxury ocean travel, Explora Journeys believes entertaining and engaging guests while encouraging them to dive deep and immerse themselves in all a journey has to offer is vital to an Ocean State of Mind. That’s where you come in. The International Host will enhance our guest’s journey by being an advocate for the brand through impeccable customer service, experience delivery, language assistance and translation services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide personalized customer service, language assistance, and translation to guests, enhancing their understanding and enjoyment of their journey while helping them reach the Ocean State of Mind.
- Be a communication specialist with our guests, while being a genuine brand ambassador for Explora Journeys throughout the Journey.
- Maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction by answering inquiries, offering suggestions and being proactive if a problem occurs to guests, by following the Journey Steps.
- Socialise, welcome guests, contribute to social events, functions, activities, and games in lounges, on deck, in-ports and where appropriate ashore.
