Senior Cyber ​​Security Engineer 80 - 100% (f/m)

For our client, a company in the IT Services and Consulting industry based in Zurich, we are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer for a permanent role.

Your responsibilities :

• You develop, plan, configure and install modern enterprise security solutions for our customers
• You create concepts and implement solutions in the area of security
• Consulting and presales activities in the field of security
• You support and advise our sales organization in the preparation of offers
• You develop and present the technical solution concepts and advise our customers
• You also support our operations team with your in-depth know-how
• On-call and emergency service (approx. 6 weeks per year)

Your qualifications :

• You have professional training in the field of IT and several years of practical experience in the cyber security environment
• You have a solid knowledge of one or more products from the following manufacturers : Checkpoint, Fortinet, F5, Or perhaps other manufacturers
• You are enthusiastic about security solutions / products and you already have certifications in this area or you are motivated to acquire certifications
• Know-how in the field of routing & switching
• You value targeted training and further education
• As a consultant, you feel comfortable and occasional presentations to customers or events are no trouble for you
• You are a service-oriented team player with initiative
• You are used to working on different projects in parallel
• You are interested in new technologies and are motivated to work in new areas
• You understand Swiss German, have very good German skills (level C1 / C2) and very good written and spoken English skills
• You are well organized, self-motivated, with the ability to deliver high-level projects with minimal supervision
• You can prioritize effectively and have optimal time management, even under pressure
• You have a category B driving license and are flexible for our locations in DE-CH
