JOB PURPOSE
Reporting directly to the Warehouses Manager will lead the continuous improvement of MSC Procurement & Logistics warehouses and will coordinate the digitalization and automatization of our warehouse processes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manages the on-going improvement projects.
- Coordinates the digitalization and automatization of our warehouses’ processes.
- Develops and manages dedicated KPI to ensure the effectiveness of results.
- Monitors the storage, order assembly and dispatch of products/goods.
- Working with related departments helps to ensure continuity in supply, quality and service while identifying areas for improvement.
- Keeps stock control systems up to date ensuring inventory accuracy for Supply department use.
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)
- Experience working within a medium/large warehouse facility.
- Good understanding of stock management/storage/deliveries and food standard compliance regulation (HACCP).
- Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse workforces.
- Knowledge of CrunchTime and Infoship.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Fluent English, any additional language is an advantage.
- Availability to travel.
- Knowledge of customs principles is appreciated.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing applied to warehouse logic is appreciated.
- Knowledge of standard compliance regulation (HACCP) is a plus.
