Process Data Scientist

Background

We are looking for a dedicated Junior Process Data Scientist to join our Drug Substance Manufacturing unit in Basel. You will focus on the core technical aspects of Multivariate Data Analysis (MVDA) : developing, validating, and maintaining robust models that contribute to our quality assurance.

The perfect candidate has a solid background in MVDA and a high-level understanding of biopharma processes. This role is ideal for someone in the early stages of their career.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Model Development Design and build MVDA models for Drug Substance manufacturing processes.
• Responsible for the end-to-end technical creation of the model structure.
• Data Pre-processing & Curation Apply rigorous data modeling techniques.
• Ensure raw process data is correctly pre-processed to prevent false positive / false negative results.
• Validation & Maintenance Execute formal validation protocols to demonstrate model suitability.
• Maintain the lifecycle of these models, ensuring accuracy over time as process baselines evolve.
