Job Purpose
The Alliance Manager is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and new business opportunities within the Swiss healthcare ecosystem, while managing complex accounts with a team of2 Key Account Managers (KAMs). This role focuses on driving growth in diagnostics services (IVD, pathology, genetics and radiology) by building strong alliances with hospitals, clinics, insurers, and other healthcare stakeholders. The position requires deep knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system, regional market dynamics, and business practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Partnerships : Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic alliances with healthcare providers, insurers, and institutional partners. Develop new accounts and expand Unilabs’ footprint in diagnostics services across Switzerland.
- Identify high-value segments and design tailored offerings (bundled services, subscription models, outcome-based pricing).
- Build a pipeline of deals with clear revenue projections and conversion timelines.
- Account Management : Co-manage complex accounts with KAMs to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor for key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Unilabs’ value proposition.
- Market Intelligence : Monitor trends in Swiss healthcare, reimbursement models, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy. Provide insights on competitive landscape and emerging opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments (operations, medical, marketing among others) to deliver integrated solutions. Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with Swiss healthcare regulations.
- Performance & Reporting : Track alliance performance, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction metrics. Prepare regular reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Coordinate on pricing topics relevant to the Swiss healthcare market, including the implementation and monitoring of frameworks such as TARDOC, Transal2, and other reimbursement mechanisms. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Unilabs’ offerings are competitively priced, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with evolving market standards.
- Provide expert guidance on the impact of pricing changes and reimbursement updates on business development, partnership negotiations, and overall profitability.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field.Minimum 10+ years of experience in business development, account management, or partnership roles within healthcare or diagnostics.Proven track record in managing complex accounts and negotiating high-value contracts.Strong understanding of Swiss healthcare system, reimbursement mechanisms, and market practices.Languages
Fluent English, French and GermanIn addition, Italian will an advantage.Skills & Competencies
