Social network you want to login / join with : Client : Guess Europe Sagl Location : Mendrisio, Switzerland Job Category : Other Job Reference : c6fba2034187 Job Views : 6 Posted : 03.03.2025 Expiry Date : 17.04.2025 Job Description : Reporting directly to the Production Technician & Quality Control Manager, the Production Technician & Quality Control will collaborate and be responsible for the manufacturing management and product quality control for Fully Fashioned and cut & sew knitwear products for all the Guess Apparel lines (Guess Jeans, Marciano, Factory Outlet, Fast Track, Kids, Active, Swim & Underwear). CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Check incoming inspection procedures and sampling and respective reports Raise non-conformance against inspected products and forward to suppliers, product department, and production coordinator for claim Raise non-conformance for out of tolerance rolls and forward to product department Liaise with suppliers and Sourcing Manager on site to view goods issues Maintain up-to-date copies of all the alterations or amendments in discussion with Sourcing Manager and product department Monitor and record the processing of all samples, swatches, etc. Evaluate customer returns in conjunction with the Customer Service and production coordinators Continually assess supplier quality and report details Deal with SMS Fitting, size set & PPS requests In charge of the bulk material / auxiliary materials’ delivery time, supervise the quality control process, and communicate with the quality control organization Ensure the material and auxiliary materials meet the quality standards Secure the product quality, and visit the factories regularly to ensure quality and delivery time Conduct research and select manufacturers worldwide Monitor the approval process for clothing items during preproduction from an aesthetic, technical, and qualitative point of view Request and monitor chemical tests on items Support the R&D team in order to solve production issues and improve the qualitative aspect of garments Open a claim with the vendor, and follow up the complete cycle with Finance department if quality is not aligned to brand requirements Size Set & PPS request Requirements Significant previous experience in the same role and field (QC in Fashion Companies – Apparel Division) Textile and Quality Control knowledge Meticulous attention to detail Result-oriented Good knowledge of Windows / Office system Experience working in cross-functional and multi-national teams Strong interpersonal and communication skills Availability to travel for various weeks during the year An international, fresh, and dynamic working environment Balance between work and personal life : Smart Working (Hybrid work model) and Time flexibility Physical & Mental Health programs, sustainable projects, and workshops promoted by Guess Community Arts, sports, and social events outside the office, thanks to our Guess Fun activities!
