As AXA XL continues to invest in its end-to-end capabilities, the Business Solution Design & Delivery Lead will support cross-functional/cross-BU programs in the solution design and delivery. Building on knowledge of processes and systems, they will partner with business units, IT and other functions to ensure the successful roll-out of the initiatives.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

The Team Lead Business Solution Design & Delivery will be responsible for:

• People Management: Will own the day to day aspects of people management covering hiring, onboarding, development, performance management and support of individual team members. Further the HR administration including time tracking, holiday tracking, performance tracking, input in compensation recommendations is part of the role.
• Team building: Ensure a solid team structure and team bonding is achieved for your sub team. Allow knowledge transfer between colleagues from different practices in order to broaden the skillset and expertise of the individual team members.
• Program Oversight: Will oversee the successful engagement of the Business Solution Design and Delivery sub team you are responsible for on the various projects by providing guidance on approach and oversight of deliveries.
• Methodologies: Ensure identification of methodology training needs of various services provided by BSDD across the pool of resources. Ensure consistency and quality of standards and documentation across programs and areas. Foster a learning environment by sharing best practices and lessons learned across team members.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Drive ongoing stakeholder engagement to obtain feedback on program execution and performance of your team members. Take actions as needed.
• External resource management: manage external resources from Vendor process, onboarding, performance and delivery tracking to time tracking and invoicing process .

This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities to ensure Operational Readiness in our programmes of work focussing on:

• identifying business solutions to various problems through workshops and interviews, conducting analyses and documenting deliverables, manage C-suite level stakeholders to drive the best business outcomeidefining and documenting target designs and outcomes for strategic business decisionsapplying change management tools and methodologies to drive adoption to enable full benefit realization,providing product ownership expertise,defining processes for continuous improvement.acting as a Business Advisor and ensure superior quality in deliverables and documentation.
• Develop close relationship with key business stakeholder of your project which allows you to act as thought partner and dare to challenge to achieve the optimum business outcome.
• Understand interdependencies between different change initiatives and manage them proactively. Own the oversight of multiple change initiatives and develop a holistic change strategy which is targeted to your key stakeholder community.
• Provide guidance / assistance to other key team members assigned to a development role / opportunity

The candidate will be expected to independently identify and deliver solutions on largecross functional programs. Coordination and program wide leadership within BSDD deliverables and strong stakeholder management is a key component for a successful delivery of this role.

In this role you will report to the Head of Business Solution Design and Delivery.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

• Significant Experience in driving global cross functional programs in the insurance industry and international environment, coupled with other relevant experience
• Excellent people management skills and experience in managing large scale teams/pools of resources
• Significant experience in consulting roles, equipped with a broad set of tools and techniques for status assessments, solutioning, visualization and implementation of various business problems. Experienced and confident presenter and facilitator for workshops, forums, interviews and other business interactions. Maintain and promote a consultancy background and always drive for highest quality output.
• Excellent Change Management skills, experience in assessing change impact and delivering change management activities targeted to various stakeholder groups, considering project interdependencies.
• Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and creative mindset complemented with excellent social/collaboration skills
• Excellent organizational skills, communication and presentation skills. Experience in communicating with C-level suite
• Excellent business acumen, coupled with technology knowledge and expertise in software development life cycle
• Prior experience in working in Agile environments
• PROSCI and or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred
