Main tasks & responsibilities :
- Ensure that all testing personnel perform tests according to established policies and procedures
- Provide day-to-day supervision and oversight of laboratory operations
- Monitor quality control procedures to ensure accurate test performance
- Ensure compliance with CLIA regulations and state requirements
- Review and resolve technical problems related to test performance
- Identify training needs and provide remedial training when necessary
- Verify that testing methods and procedures are performed correctly
- Ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary
- Review and document performance specifications for accuracy and reliability
- Provide guidance and training to improve staff performance
- Ensure staff maintain required certifications and continuing education
- Maintain accurate records of all test results, quality control activities, and personnel competency assessments
- Ensure laboratory personnel follow proper biosafety and infection control protocols
- Oversee the proper maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment
- Ability to deal with client information in a confidential manner

We are looking for someone with experience in laboratory work, who can effectively organize processes, ensure compliance with standards, and oversee quality control. Attention to detail and the ability to work with equipment are essential.
