We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst with strong SQL expertise and solid functional analysis experience to join us in Lugano.

The role acts as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting business needs and IT projects in the banking industry.

Responsibilities: Define and manage functional analysis for regulatory, business, and IT projects Define, plan, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities Take ownership of complex functional incidents in collaboration with business stakeholders Leverage advanced SQL to analyze, manipulate, and extract data in support of business needs Collaborate with IT teams to design and propose IT solutions aligned with business requirements Must-have Skills: Proven experience of at least 5+ years in an IT Business Analyst role within banking or financial services environments Strong SQL expertise , enabling advanced querying, data analysis, and effective interpretation of database structure Demonstrated capability in business and functional analysis within complex environments, coupled with the ability to design and model IT solutions Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently while remaining strongly focused on results Fluent in Italian and English University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline We offer: Swiss employment contract Shape your career through challenging projects in a truly international setting Thrive in a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace Location Requirement: This position is fully office-based , requiring a 5-day-per-week on-site commitment Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino/Switzerland, or be willing to commute from nearby Italian border towns Are you looking for an exciting job in a dynamic environment?
