Logistics specialist
Proclinical is actively seeking a Logistics Specialist for an exciting role in the biotech / pharmaceutical industry. This role is crucial in overseeing and managing daily supply chain activities for international markets, acting as a liaison with internal and external customers and vendors.
The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure timely and complete supply, manage shipments, handle invoicing, and report on sales and inventory.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage daily Supply Chain activities for International markets.
- Act as liaison with internal and external customers and vendors.
- Work closely with Commercial & Planning teams to ensure on time in full supply.
- Manage FG shipments, invoicing, shipping deviations and sales & inventory reporting.
- Identify and communicate any shipment risks to management and support recommendations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Analyse cross functional and logistics processes and identify / implement solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of the supply chain.
Key Skills and Requirements :
- Degree in Supply Chain related Education or equivalent.
- Experience in a Logistics / Supply Chain role or within the Biotech / Pharmaceutical industry or any other regulated industry such as Food / Medical device.
- Experience within an international and controlled environment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to direct and participate in cross functional and management teams.
- Experience with Supply Chain and Manufacturing planning tools : preferably Oracle, Hyperion, Business Object, SAP, APO, Manugistics, JDE.
- Good understanding of the underlying principles and concepts of the work performed.
- Ability to summarize complex situations for executive management reporting.
